The University of Baltimore was founded as a private night School of Law and College of Business Administration.

1975: The University became a public institution under the Board of Trustees of State Universities and Colleges, shifting its structure to an upper-division undergraduate, master’s-level, and professional institution.

Admission  Requirements

Applying to study in the university is made easy below are the process

  1. Submit a graduate application, which includes a personal statement, and pay the $50 nonrefundable application fee.
  2. Send an official college transcript from each college previously attended to the Office of Admission (electronic versions are encouraged).
  3. Check below for additional requirements based on the program you are applying to.

Admission deadlines

The MBA has six entry points (at the start of a 7-week session). You are encouraged to apply at any time.

The following programs admit for the fall semester only:

  • Doctor of Public Administration
  • D.S. in Information and Interaction Design
  • M.F.A. in Creative Writing & Publishing Arts
  • M.F.A. in Integrated Design

For all other graduate programs, applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. Admission will be offered depending on the availability of space, the strength of your credentials, and the sufficiency of time for processing
